Re: Rock slider concept

This set is a slightly later design, which bolts on and has steps built in. Not sure if they are fully fitted yet.

Re: Rock slider concept

This set was shortened by the owner so as not to need to trim the plastics, and was fitted with glue as originally intended with rivets for backup:

Re: Y62 Portal Axles

Here's a video that discusses the drawbacks of portals on a daily-driven vehicle.
Not Patrol related and so figures will be different, but still of use.

The biggest drawback I expected is not even mentioned.

Re: TB45 Distributor

David Marais bought one from Nissan a few years ago. Said it made a big difference.

Was rather expensive though.

Re: Fueled Diesel in TB45E - what to change

I think what's done is done.
I would change the fuel filter but I don't think you need to change anything else.

Re: Retirement bakkie

At that price and mileage, I smell a rat.
But if you have the budget for an engine rebuild (probably including a new head), it could be a good starting point. I have no idea what a known "good one" would cost now.

Re: Y60 Rear Bumper and corner chop

:rolling: Die ...

Re: Y60 Rear Bumper and corner chop

Dankie Alex. Die prys was heel billik, so dis wat ek sou voorstel as iem...
