I don't pick anything up with normal everyday driving, hard, short braking etc. As soon as i'm on a long downhill and have to brake the steering sta...

Re: Over heating problems

My radiator cap failure started exactly like that - we pushed the vehicle in the sand, but temp gauge remained normal. When I switched off, I heard a boiling sound which was in fact water / air blowing back through the cap into the plastic reservoir. While driving normally over the next two weeks, I...

Re: Help required near Beaufort West

Hey Dave, that wheel jack bar makes so much sense and will definately result in minimum use of bad language! Cedric my biggest issue with these tyres from the day I bought the car, has been wheel balancing it's bad from around 80km to about 110km/h, but when getting to the 120 mark I have managed to...

Re: Help required near Beaufort West

Thanks guys - it was quite an ordeal! Pete, you don't want anyone to repeat the language I was using with the shifter - my "Troll never came with any wheel spanner, I just bought a standard crossover wheel spanner, not thinking about the jack handle.

Re: Help required near Beaufort West

It is no joke sitting on the side of the road in 38 degree weather with nothing larger than a small bush for shade as far as the eye can see. On a more serious note - Yesterda...

Re: Honingklip 4x4 on 23 Dec 2017

Sorry about the delay, turns out Greyton does not possess a signal for a strong enough wifi connection. It was lekker to meet the Cape Town boys & to drive a different trail with such nice scenery. Here's some of our pics, hopefully a little better with a 21 year old in charge of the photography !! ...
