Re: Patrol 6th and 7th seats

Re: Newby Patrol Owner - Things to look out for

Re: Getting into gear - a riddle for drive train specialists

I would start by listening with a stethoscope or long screwdriver. If the end is held against the gearbox and with the engine running the clutch is stroked, there should be a change in sound. Also different gears should make different sounds. Remember that even with the box in neutral, most of the ...

Re: Getting into gear - a riddle for drive train specialists

If no, then we know the clutch is still there and the need to look at transfer and ...

Re: Y61 GU adjustable drag link wanted

Bump steer from both wheels moving in the same direction up or down will not be much of a problem as long as the panhard and draglink runs parallel and are of similar length. Thus any movement of the diff left -right and vice versa when hitting a bump will be compensated for as the relative movement...

Re: 4.8 alternator

FYI I took the alternator to the autolec and he said there is nothing wrong with it, I wanted to agree as it spins freely, no noise . He suggested I refit and check the pump, I nearly agreed but the only red light for me is the fact that the pulley became so hot so quickly. End of the day I said jus...

Re: Second battery tray

Any reason I can't see any pictures?

I see only single gold stars making comments - could it be related to status?
