Bart to get back on topic after Izak and Oom Mac have sorted each other out... If this were my decision (I wish) I would probably opt for a slightly older 4.8, and use the saving to pay for the fuel. The reason for this is that this forum is full of stories of woe with all the various turbo diesels...
