I have spoken to expert oil guys about the synthetic vs mineral oil and if they mix or not. Aparantly its a myth that you cannot swith over. I have switched over on previous vehicles I had with no drama. Shell HX7 is actually a blens oil and is a mix of symthetic and mineral oil........ so think it...

I was an avid Delo 400 supporter and user for the iron Maiden for many years, but one service a few years back I couldn't get any Delo 400, so saw the Shell HX7 as shown on the pics above by Tapie, and mine runs smooth and without any more oil consumption than usual. No rattle and hum noise change ...

JUST A NOTE ON OIL!! As far as I am aware, if your motor has been running on mineral oil, you should not change to synthetic oil or the other way around. DVR on the 4x4 Community Forum's son lost the motor on his Jeep changing the oil from mineral to synthetic, he lost all oil pressure and huge oil...

And then for engine oil, these would be most likely my 2 choices,...

Note that on the super gear it states Gl4, would that be suitable for transfer aswell as diffs ?

Howzit Guys.
I've checked the manual in the library, would like to post pictures of the available oil that i want to put in the diffs and transfer case.
Please advise on what i can use and not.
