Re: Bash Plates
Gentlemen I am running a Christmas special on most protective parts. I have limited stock of bash plates (for all Y60 and Y61 models), transfer case skid-plates and diff guards, and can make up a couple of sets of some models of rock sliders within a week or so of order. Hey Peter, Pretty keen on a...

Re: Roof rack, which Roof Rack?
So after a lot of research and all of your awesome recommendations, I have gone with African Outback and here's why. - Not one seriously bad review - Any Negative feedback resulted in a replacement or repaint / re-spray at R0 cost: Based on various forums - Weight of rack is the lightest and the wid...

Re: Roof rack, which Roof Rack?
Thanks all, I've mailed big country to see if they have stock and can send one down to the Safari Center here in N1 city. Seems like you guys prefer this over FR. Pricing is neither here nor there (actually R300 cheaper) and their roof rack is 8 kg lighter than Front runner too (20% which is huge). ...

Roof rack, which Roof Rack?
Hi all, I'm in the market for a new roof rack but I'm rather frustrated with lack of options readily available. The only brand I can actually view and check out before purchasing is Front Runner and while there is nothing wrong with it, I hate the idea or feeling like I am forced to purchase it pure...

Re: Homemade Draw system with video showing final product - Plenty lessons learnt!!!
Nice use of the space and workmanship :goodpost: One suggestion. The access to the fuel pump is under your right drawer and you are going to swear if you need to take the whole system out. Cut a hole in the bottom so that you can get to it without removing the packing system. Thanks David - a aweso...

Front faces of the doors: IMG_3120.JPG We finished off day 4 by carpeting the face of the draws and adding the handles. Truth be told, we were hoping to fit the system on day 4 as well, however, due to various hiccups along the way, this was not to be. IMG_3125.JPG IMG_3127.JPG Day 5: Fitment day, ...

The string holding the sides in the correct position: IMG_3065.JPG We checked along the way but once the "walls" and sides were up, we checked the positioning of the water tank and the slot for the solar panel. this was end of Day 1: IMG_3069.JPG IMG_3070.JPG Day two was all about fitting ...

Homemade Draw system with video showing final product - Plenty lessons learnt!!!
Lekker boys... and Girls... The idea behind this thread is to share my experience with you all, including my lessons learnt while building my homemade, DIY draw system. I'm going to start off by saying that I'm pretty useless when it comes to DIY stuff and that I contemplated long and hard before de...
