Check the gearbox relay first. It is on the passenger side in the engine bay.
If I remember correctly the reverse light relay is the same. Swap them and see if it makes any difference.

Many years ago I had a similar problem on my Safari and it was one of the globes.
Test the globes with your multimeter or connect the globe directly to the car battery.
Test between earth and light connectors and earth and brights connectors on the globe.

Good morning I need some advice on my 2004 4.8 Patrol I replaced the water pump in April 2022 (bought from Nissan dealer) and now after 12000km it is leaking. I haven't removed it yet but it looks like it is leaking through the shaft. The original pump wasn't leaking but was starting to make a noise...

The 4.5 has some kind of an expansion box in its intake. The bottom of this box melts because of the exhaust heat and leaks air into the intake.

To add to Peter's comment, also check the fuel filter.

Before you trace the wiring, remove one of the door panels and test with another speaker.
Both speakers on the driver side of my car stopped working and it was the speakers, not the wiring.
