Re: Patrols for Sale - Various sites
I actually had a brief look at it too. It did look good, just dirty like all webuycars vehicles. Only thing I noticed was the rear number plate lamp was hanging.

Re: Nissan Patrol TB45 4.5 Litre GRX4X4 1998 Manual for sale
Morning Gents Just a quick update on this Patrol. I met Ignus in Centurion last week and had a good look at his patrol. It has the odd scratch but otherwise in great nick. The clutch is quite tight but operates fine otherwise. He's done quite a lot to the vehicle. The price is a bit high but I think...

Re: Back in the market
Thanks Eddie, But I'd be too worried about scratching it. My budget is below 100k unfortunately. Unless I'm completely misreading your offer and the price is within my range ?????????? lol
Must admit, I love me a 4.8

Back in the market
Hi almal I'm looking for a Patrol again. Work and life are making way for toys again. Wanting one as my daily driver, about 1200kms per month, and then weekends and holidays. I prefer petrol and don't mind the odd dents and scratches. GQ or Gu ... I'm torn between the "don't mind about the body...

Re: Opinions on 98 Y61 4.2 non turbo
Well I took the 3.0 for a test today ... They said it just needed a new battery, but it did start straight away this time. I did notice that the radiator cradle was welded to the body. So now I guess it's probably been in a smack. Couldn't have been too bad but not sure why it would have been welded...

Re: Opinions on 98 Y61 4.2 non turbo
Morning Gents Out of curiousity now, Michael - what is the going cost to do the conversion? Are they refurbed turbos or everything new. What all does it involve. I'm guessing the following: Different exhaust manifold. Turbo Tubing Pistons Rings EGT Sensor/Gauge Larger Air box Intercooler Additional ...

The one in East London wouldn't start when I went to check it out. Will pop back past there and try again. Not the greatest condition though.

Re: Opinions on 98 Y61 4.2 non turbo
Cedric. Your comment about the missing socket go me thinking. Surely all the TD42 motors sound the same regards of whether they have a turbo or not?! What does the ZD30 sound like? There's a ZD30 Y61 here in East London which I went to look at. They couldn't get it started so didn't hear what it sou...
