Re: Sojo Automotive....... the TD42 one stop shop
I want to get it on a dyno asap, didn't have time when I went to collect it, but going by foot feel about 70% better acceleration and drivability. Hills are now something you look forward to, not something you dread, as is overtaking. The best way I can describe the difference pre and post turbo is ...

Re: Sojo Automotive....... the TD42 one stop shop
Just my 2c worth - I dropped my Patrol off at Michael for the conversion from donkie diesel to turbo diesel, and I have to say while thanks to 'rona and a whole host of underlying issues that Michael found and dealt with, it did take about 5 months to complete the conversion - BUT is has totally tra...

Re: Anyone here turbo'ed a TD42?
Michael Steyn is THE guy to speak to. I dropped my Donkey, as my kids call my TD42 N/A Patrol, off in September and after many months and lots of bug and part hunting (thanks to 'rona) I picked it up yesterday and drove back home to Bloem grinning like an idiot all the way. I can't even begin to exp...

Re: Low fuel light
I have the same Patrol...also no subtank fitted unfortunately. That little circle you see there is the orange light that should come on when the fuel is low. Mine comes on more or less on the line or a fraction below. I've only seen it light up a few times as bleeding diesel from the tank to the pu...

Low fuel light
Morning all, I have a question, my Patrol (2000 4,2d) has only the main tank - as far as I know 95l. I drove it till the needle was at the bottom of the red line of the fuel gauge ( as far as i dared - not wanting to push... ). I did notice, thanks to some handy late afternoon sun, something that lo...

DIY Low fuel warning light
My 2000 4.2d only has the main tank, and being a GL I assume there is no low fuel warnig light. Would it be possible to install a diy warning light?
My 2000 4.2d het net die main tank, en siende dat dit 'n GL is, weet ek nie of hy een het nie. Sou ek een kon diy?
