Re: Hello from JTEC - Newbie

For sure, the Patrol will be your last 4x4, unless you trade it in for another Patrol in the future.

I loved those Lada's, drove one a few years ago and they are really cool!

Go to any hardware shop, they sell the non slip tape that you can stick on, works great, have it on my sliders and rear ladder.
Thanks Dirk, just need to get off my gat and do it.

Re: Rock slider steps

Rhett, have you tried skate-board tape? I don't know, but I suspect they could be damaged in such a situation, but it shouldn't be too difficult to repair. I might fiddle the design to ensure that it just rips the step off, without damaging anything else, to make it easier to repair. Well it is an ...

Re: Rock slider steps

Looks like a good idea Peter, I have recently been thinking of a non-slip option on the rock sliders on mine as I have slipped of them when my feet are wet and my ankle doesn't like it anymore. In your opinion how would they stand up to catching a jutted rock or something? Obviously as a worst case ...

Re: My life with the New Patrol Y 62

So I was not a huge fan of the Y62 when it launched...for all the usual reasons everyone has stated. But it has grown on me and I see they are becoming very popular in Aus. Watched these videos recently too which gave me more respect for them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BhGz8TbxUI https://www....

Re: What to eat/food to take?

Fox Ranches Game Farm

A friend of mine in Botswana has been working hard over the years to get his game farm up and running, and it is now ready for visitors. If you're keen to try it out, check this link. His website is not yet off the ground, but soon to be. https://mailchi.mp/02c9156280e1/fox-ranches-game-farm?e=c276a...
