Re: Suspension Specials !!!

Thanks man, when I checked to see how current the posts were and saw May I thought good stuff. Neglecting to check the year.... The devil is in the detail they say.
Do you perhaps know of a reasonably priced suspension place in JHB?

Hi Riaan,

Tried sending you an email but it keeps on bouncing. Have you got another address I can use?

Re: Kgalagadi Trip Jan 2016

Pardon the late response, I haven't been online for a few days.

@ Kagiso II

I didn't know one could do that - sounds good. What are the costs to do something like that?

Regards,

Re: Is the price right?

@Ian I believe I did see your Patrol when I arrived. Graham pulled it out to make way for mine - very, very nice. I'll post some pics once I sign the papers. Still making my peace with the consumption so not about to get cocky about the power of the 4.8 yet. The 4.2 diesels are scarce as hens teeth ...

Kgalagadi Trip Jan 2016

As I mentioned in a previous post we're planning a camping trip for the first week or so of January. Most accommodation in the Kgalagadi is fully booked early January so we're booked into the Kgalagadi Lodge is 5 km's outside Twee Rivieren for those few days until we can get in to KTP. We're a famil...

Re: Is the price right?

Just want to give everyone a big thanks for the advice on the Patrol ... she is nearly mine ("ours" if the missus asks  ), just waiting for Bosch to do the inspection which is a requirement from MFC then all done bar the paper work. Went to see Graham and Vanessa yesterday and Gra...

Re: Is the price right?

Thanks everyone for all your help.

I'll probably have some more questions in future.

P.S. That Groot Trek trip coming up in August looks epic, I wish I already had been organised with purchase a few months earlier. Hopefully it is a yearly thing.

Re: Is the price right?

Thanks for your responses and welcome!

As they say "the devil is in the detail" I was so sure I put down all the info .

It is the 4.8 GRX Tiptronic. the P64 model with the 198KW motor. Not sure if that makes a difference as to knowing if it is pre face lift or not.

Is the price right?

Hi All, I have an opportunity to buy a 2004 patrol with 150000 Km's on the clock for R155k. The trans union guide says that retail should be +- R130k. Now I know that some vehicles do achieve more than the guide price but since I'm a total noob in the 4x4 world I don't really have a reference for th...
