Re: Car not turning right

Graham, have you done anything (or had somebody else do anything) under your car recently? That adjuster can come loose by itself but it's fairly unlikely? I once had this happen after replacing the steering damper. Turned out it was a different length than the original, and I ended up moving the m...

Re: Car not turning right

Glad I found this thread!
My 4.8 has this exact problem at the moment - it doesnt turn right as well as it does left - I looked like a real chop the other day pulling into a parking and the damn thing wouldnt turn sharp enough.
So I'll be under my patrol this weekend if anyone needs me

Re: Quick Pitch Rtt Kit

That looks very nice, congrats. I really like these kind of tents, they look like theyre very easy to pack away compared the the conventional roof tents that can occasionally be a mission to pack away again - having to tuck all the flaps in on all the sides and squeezing them closed. My only problem...

Maybe I am wrong and GQ prices are on the rise
I dont know if its just me, but it seems all patrol prices are a bit on the rise? Or, higher than when I last checked.
4.8s with over 300000kms for R200k etc. seems high to me.

Re: Zerubabel

Never been on a dyno, no. It definitely doesn’t feel underpowered, and it revs cleanly to redline. Maybe I’m just being a bit of a girl and not pushing it enough. But, I couldn’t imagine seeing 190 in it though. But again. Maybe I’m too scared. Haha Edit: I’ll take it in the satellite road on Saturd...

Re: Zerubabel

Mine does between 4.8 and 5. I think I’ve seen a 5.5 and a 6 maybe once in the four years of ownership. What I noticed again was someone mentioning they cruise at 140km/h. Mine has no hope of that, my cruising speed is 110. It’s a tiring effort to try keep it at 120, and it’s a hell of a thing to tr...

Re: Ant's Custom Workshop

So my Patrol went to visit Anthony for some TLC and attention.. One of the first things that I had fitted to the Patrol when I bought it was a MADMAN meter. At that stage it measured voltage, EGT and coolant level and temp. SInce I had the turbo fitted earlier this year I wanted to add turbo boost ...

Re: New here Advice on new Patrol

I must say, I’ve never had an issue with my toe bars catching on anything.
Anyway, it seems the rear bumper to go for is a bzt one. I think a couple of the guys here have those on.
On other mods, put your wish list out here, you’ll more than likely find good priced used stuff floating around
