Ok, interesting, as I said its just something Ive been wondering about for interest, Im not planning on going alone ever, BUT, its good to know if, at some point theres one or two guys who are keen and want to go, we dont need to wait until next year to have to go with the whole forum. :thumbup:

I find the hard shell tent to be very easy to close - no fiddling with a vinyl/canvas cover and all the mission that brings. That Bundutop is very very nice, but, it is a massive thing though, it looks to me like once that is bolted to the roof rack theres no space for the jerrycans, gas bottles etc?

Temperature needs careful management though. Temps climb quickly, to the point where water temps is the limiting factor on long hills, not EGT's. Never saw EGT go over 515 degrees. You use them to secure the seats when they are folded forward. Strap goes around the "O-flip handvatsel" on the pillar behind the driver door.

Cool, ya, I saw that on some google images too, should definitely be able to get rid of the overhang quite nicely
