Re: Bfg en Cooper tyres

Coopers apparently offer a 60 000km guarantee with their tyres, on condition that you rotate and balance every 5000km i think. So if you go this route, make sure you get them from a tyre shop close to your house.

Re: Bfg en Cooper tyres

Hi Roelf, I have had two sets of BFG KM2 on my Patrol 4.2D, first set lasted 105 000km, second set lasted 98 000km. I decided to try something new just for fun, now running Cooper STT Pro, currently have about 30 000km on them and doing well. Hard to say if they'll make it all the way to 100 000km, ...

Re: Beadlockers

In my experience A-line / duster basic steel rims are not strong enough for Patrols. I've had trouble before with out-of-round, impossible balancing, and deformation under working load conditions. Fine if you got a patrol wagon that hardly sees a load or tough trails, but when it's working hard, on ...

Re: Sam Eyles (youtube patroller)

I follow him but i gotta be honest i can't stand his style of over-the-top presentation, thinks the sun shines out his ass. Anyway, i just watch it for the Patrols  full disclaimer... he is very knowledgable on mechanics and electrics, no doubt about that. He's an electrical engineer by tra...

Re: Suspension

Advice Needed for Rust Repair - Cape Town

Hi Guys. My 2007 Patrol 4.2D Nissan Patrol Pickup has developed rust in a few spots around the front windshield. It's bubbled up from inside, and needs to be sorted out. I've owned this vehicle for over 10years, and serviced it meticulously since new, it is absolutely mechanically perfect with a Ful...
