Re: Rims for Nissan Patrol 4x4 2004
The first photo seems to be a standard steel rim. The other seem to be the standard series 1/2 alloy rims as per the photo I've attached. But... are you sure those are 17" rims ? Both of those came out in 16" only, as far as I know. What size tyres are you running ? ie: 285/75R16 / whateve...

Re: Rims for Nissan Patrol 4x4 2004
Hi Anika - and welcome to the forum. The PCD (pitch circle diameter) for the Patrol is not standard. I believe that some forum members who have used after market rims have had the PCD machines out on their rims in order to get them to fit. However, I do not know the details on this as I am running s...

Re: Y62 2" lift
Heiko - welcome to the forum. There are several members here with Y62's. Unfortunately, us poor folk who cannot afford them all have Y60's / Y61's. :rolling: :rolling: As such, I'm totally the wrong person to ask. I could point you at the reference library which has various manuals and similar. Howe...

Re: Diff
Springkaan - chat with DAvid Volschenk or Tinus Lotz - they will both be able to sort you out. Should be the H233B on the 4.8 Auto. How does it happen? LOTS of right foot and a sudden application of traction......... The TB45 has an H260. I'd be surprised if that got eaten up... :) Edit: I'll send y...

Re: New 76 series
People say the 2.8 drives away from the V8. That might be so when towing up a hill But I would like to see what it does on rocks. Does it labour the clutch or does it ease over the rocks like a big in-line six? And similar for deep soft sand, does it hunt on the auto (or require you to rev up to ma...

Re: New 76 series
The persons buying these vehicles will state two things in order to justify their sad choices. 1: Dealer network / service / parts availability etc. 2: Toyota reliability. Both which statements sort of exclude the other one. ie: Why worry so much about parts availability for a truck that apparently ...

Re: M-Tech Communication Antennas
Peter - I hear your comments about proper convoy discipline and convoy driving. It is what I was used to prior to the radio thing. As you know, my father and I regularly tour together. The radio changes the way one tours. It makes it easier passing trucks on the road, reporting on hazards in the roa...

Re: M-Tech Communication Antennas
Thanks Lawrence. I was unaware of this. Would you mind sharing details of the other companies who do these types of antennas ?
