Re: PATROL SERVICING 178,000 KM

Thank you for you very valuable points made, and what continues to be a focal point is that the gearbox oil for the Patrol GRX auto box should NOT be anything else than what Peter mentioned?
maybe it is about time I spent a little money on the patrol?

Re: PATROL SERVICING 178,000 KM

Hi Peter, Thank you for this timely advice. it emphasizes our ongoing saga with respect to what we should do, and while every Patrol owner is effectively an 'expert' in his/her own right, we really do seem continue a debate that does not seem to end? Nor be conclusive? So also with the greatest of r...

Re: PATROL SERVICING 178,000 KM

Hi everybody, you all are aware of my precious patrol being on the market, and it remains fascinating the calls we get. However, my point at present is that Rick my son suggested we take a look at the gearbox and diffs with the potential to change the respective oils? Please could we again seek good...

Re: PATROL 4.8 GRX 2004

Good Morning All, I never realized how emotional a vehicle can become but the time has come for me to say goodbye to the Patrol. We are needing to downsize in lifestyle and costs are a factor, giving rise to our facing reality that we cannot afford to allow this carefully and thoroughly maintained u...

steering box replacements?

Hi Everybody, My hardbody's steering box is talking to me and making noises that seem to say "fix me" ? On good advice here in Swaziland it appears that repairs are not a good route to follow and refurbishment swap out seem to be the best route to follow? Can anyone help me with advice on ...

Re: Cold Factor Yskaste

Hi Peter, Nice to hear from you! Regrettably we are committed this weekend and also my beloved Patrol is grounded with a burst radiator pipe. ((unbelievable history, starter motor and radiator - that's all after 11 years!) I had hoped Rick down at Big bend could have gone but he is also committed, a...
