Peter, really impressive fuel consumption for a river trip! Its still early days on your conversion and we will iron out all the small things to get your temps closer to where they should be. Your exhaust valve/streight pipe mod thing will be a very good test to see what influence the smaller exhaus...

If I could make a guess I would say it feels like about 10% power going down the drain when moving from 33" to 35".
I have felt this on my Patrol as well as others so think in general the TD42's dont mind the bigger tyres.

Well just some findings on my side. I have had 35" tyres on 2 sets of rims and the only time I had the tyres touching somewhere was when the offset was too much and the tyres was sticking out past the fender flaires. As soon as I moved the offset back and the tyres are flush with the flairs (or not ...

Thats a 3.0 for sure. I see a oil catch can and seems like a thicker/upgraded radiator. Im guessing it has a front mount cooler installed
