Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel

Now here is where it got excited. I imported a new turbo which got some very good reviews. It was not cheap but this test proved the point that some turbo's are more expensive for a reason. I already had a very good Mitsubishi TD05 16G and replaced it with a 18G. Delivering 1.4 bar of boost with a g...

Re: My GU 4.2 Turbo Diesel

Ok Gents, finally I have done the dyno runs to see what the benefit is of installing the inline pump. As mentioned earlier, the Facet pump is not up to the task to deliver fuel in a positive manner........ pun intended  The end product is a John Deere 90 series external pump which is pressure r...

Re: Is there supposed to be oil here?

While you are there, you may want to remove that butterly in the intake... the little bolt & nut rattles loose over time & can cause major internal engine damage. Aparantly it is there for a reason. We saw on Alex Le Roux's 4.8 that it increases torque at a certain rpm. Thys got heaps more torque w...

Re: Navara/Pathfinder 2.5 or 3.0 DCI engine for Patrol 3.0

Dis interesant!
Ek het na die fan gekyk en het my teorie om dit gebou, nie verder ondersoek ingestel om na die crank pully te kyk nie.

Maar dis goeie nuus!! Nou gaan daar dalk n GQ binne kort met n v9x engine in loop

Re: Navara/Pathfinder 2.5 or 3.0 DCI engine for Patrol 3.0

Re: Navara/Pathfinder 2.5 or 3.0 DCI engine for Patrol 3.0

The v9x or 3.0 vs as we know it will never work in a Patrol for one reason only........ it turns anti-clockwise so you will have to change the whole drivetrain which defeats the purpose
