Got mine fitted last week and had to cut the bottom only as per pic above. Used a hack saw
I think I used Mazda 323 MK VI - part number Ferodo FDB1455

Great info. I hope I am understanding this correctly that you can NOT fit after market bearings in the front, its either originals or you re-make the originals in already in the vehicle
