Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi All, I have a service comimg due on the troll. Can anyone recommend a gauteng based Nissan where patrol's are not so few and far between. I checked my manual and it says that the difflock will engage in 4h and 4l, but not in 2x4.

I can difinately remember the salesman telling me the 4l only story.so think that there might be a general misconception at some Nissan dealers.

Hi Gents, For Some reason ,I can recall having been told that the difflock on the newer models only engages in low range, it will flicker in high and 4x2. I have a 06 grx and I "think" this is indeed the case. However , I did have a vacuum pump issue which nissan quoted a discounted price ...

I have always checked by putting the van on the lawn or a gravel road ,and making a slow sharp turn , if the difflock is engaged, then the inside wheel will ripp up grass or on a harder surface, shudder. You will also notice the larger turning circle with difflock locked.

Thanks For them feedback, I was thinking of 3 bar on the tar.
TyreShop reckons 2.4 but this is too low in my opinion.
What diameter exhaust have you got fitted?

Got kids so tranquility is not part of our journeys on the tar anyway.

So they're fitted,
AndThey look great in my opinion.
A slight whine on them highway, not overbearing, ride feels good, got a slight lift
now to test them out on them dirt, the tread is really aggressive so I am ambitious.
