Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

I've said this a few times and i'll say it again,.... Nissan Paint work is by far one of the worst in the Automotive business. The paint work on a Toyota Land Cruiser is 100x better than a Nissan Patrol...fact. Nissan charge a fortune for these vehicles, and cut corners in so many places, its disgra...

Re: Trip Report - Namibia and Botswana

Well after a coule days at Mavunje camp we set off, in the direction of Botswana. Re: Trip Report - Namibia and Botswana

So upon arrival at the Border, we crossed through our first vet check tyre dip. No worries, all was good, and parked up. Everything went well at the namibia side,... paperwork done quickly, as we had snuck in before a group of about 20. Back in the trucks, moving toward the Bots side of the border p...

Re: Trip Report - Namibia and Botswana

The track in to Kubu was hard on the vehicles. I had never in my life seen dust like this. Stepping out the vehicle your feet disappeared into dark baby powder. The amount of dust kicked up from the vehicle whilst driving was insane. almost looked like water when it hit the side windows and slid dow...

Re: Patrol Spotting

That has to be one of the worst chassis extension modifications i've ever seen. good heavens. It appears they've also used the rear end from a patrol pickup, rather than retaining coils, no doubt, for the weight, and associated body roll. BUT,... in my opinion the length of section they've added in,...

Re: Autobar rear bumper

I can tell you guys right now that there is no stronger rear bar on the market. The number of points, and how, it locates to the chassis, is second to none. That is Cheap for such a bar.
