Re: Intercooler

Hi Bruce,

I had a look last night and the boost sensor is just bolted to the Inter-cooler, you can remove and re-use it. The only parts you'll need is a pipe and a fitting (to be fitted to the inlet manifold)

Something like this:

Re: Front Brake Seal Kit

Contact Marino from terrain tamer, I did mine a few months ago including new brake pistons because mine was pitted badly. They are in two seperate kits you need to request: the seal kit and I believe you order the pistons separately.

Re: Gearbox drain plug stuck

How much meat is on that plug?

Can you weld in a tool? Risky though with the heat to the casing...

Otherwise a large "Easy Out" is there enough material to drill a hole for that?? But it may just strip.

Its a scary one.

If it were me I would let a pro sort it...

Re: Gearbox drain plug stuck

First get the replacement plug. Then first make sure you can get the filler plug out. you dont want to drain the gearbox only to find that you cant fill it again. Although its only a small amount of welding, its advisable to disconnect the battery while welding. Then weld a 13mm bolt into the stripp...
