Re: Come and visit if you're in Southern Namibia
You'll be welcome.
We are hoping to get a proper tourist destination business going, Its beautiful country, isolated somewhat like the Richtersveld but with less people
We have some good 4x4 routes from easy to some not for the faint hearted, but need to build more into some of the isolated areas of the farm, was thinking that it could be a forum getaway to come and build a trail. Need to get campsites properly organised but there is bush camping.
We have game, excellent birding and history and mineral walks ( semi precious and interesting specimens) and of course time and space.

Re: Come and visit if you're in Southern Namibia

Re: Come and visit if you're in Southern Namibia
Peter,
Love Namibia and would love to come and visit there.
What kind of help you need to get some 'more thing done there'?
Our plan is Aug-Sept next year but would like to do a recce to your place.

Re: Come and visit if you're in Southern Namibia
Hi James
We are open for visitors and you're more than welcome to pop in to a do recce, just need a weeks notice to make sure things are unlocked.
We've got some nice trails around the farm but as I said there a couple of areas that are a real challenge to get to and so I want to do some work making those areas accessible.
We have a river that you can walk on down to the orange, but I need to sort out how to do a drive down, it couple of places you need to detour off and that requires some work.
We are busy removing all the old fences that made up the internal camps, then I need to get a game fence up on the north and eastern side, west is done and I want to leave south open to the river.
Need to get a couple of camp sites done and refurbish an old cottage built in the late 1800's for a sleep over place.
So lots of work but its fun and relaxing
